Our eye exams have two main goals. We want to check your vision levels to make sure that you have the right prescription. We also want to check your overall eye health to make sure you are free of diseases and your eyes are healthy. If we find any evidence of underlying health conditions, we will discuss all your options with you.
In addition to looking for any indicators of potential vision problems, our Jacksonville eye doctors will also look at your overall eye health. At VAL-Uvision, you can always expect A+ patient care.
We offer contact lens examinations and fittings, to make sure you are a candidate for contact lenses and to fit you with lenses that will be comfortable for your eyes. We carry a range of top brand contact lenses including Cooper, Bausch and Lomb “Purevision”, “Acuvue”, and Alcon “Air Optix”. Those opting to wear contact lenses will find what they need, whether it’s soft daily disposable contacts, rigid gas permeable (RGP) form, or even color changing contact lenses. We also offer a selection of hard-to-fit contact lenses for those who suffer from certain eye conditions including dry eye and other eye conditions.
We can treat and manage common eye problems such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, red eye, diabetic eye problems, and eye infection.
LASIK can be a great solution to vision problems, but is it right for you? We can examine you to determine if you make a good candidate for LASIK and answer any questions you have. If you decide to go ahead with the procedure, we will do all your pre-op and post-op care.
